JOSEPH DEHEER - Co-Founder
Joseph DeHeer grew up in Central Indiana and studied accounting and finance at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. After graduating in 2012, he started working for a regional orthopedic distributorship specializing in the sales and operations of ortho biologics and implants. In early 2016, Joseph took on the challenge of helping his father and his partners at IQ Medical launch the Equinus Brace™.
Since then, Joseph has traveled the United States working hard to establish sales channels, build marketing assets, and implement educational strategies to change the paradigm of how physicians view and treat foot and ankle pathologies. Joe and Mike met in Philadelphia and realized the opportunity to work together to better deliver products and services to physicians, practitioners, and patients. Mark Langsenkamp - Inventory Manager
Mark Langsenkamp is a native Hoosier and joined Thrive as a college intern in 2021. While working as an intern, Mark helped Thrive streamline our inventory management system by utilizing software to automate processes and make the company more efficient. Upon graduation, Mark spent a year in the professional workforce before an opportunity came up to return to Thrive as our Operations Manager. Mark re-joined the team in January of 2024 to assist with internal operations and managing our inventory levels for rapid growth and international expansion. Isabelle Vavul - Senior Account Manager
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, Isabelle completed her Healthcare and Business degree at Butler University. Isabelle joined the team full-time after graduation upon completing her sales and marketing internship with Thrive. Isabelle loves going on walks, cooking, hanging out with friends and family, and volunteering in her community.
Isabelle helps Thrive build relationships with clinical partners in Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana. As a result of her hard work, Isabelle was promoted to Senior Account Manager in December of 2024, managing a larger territory in the Midwest. Kaley Hawkins - National Sales Manager
As a central Indiana native, Kaley Hawkins joined Thrive as an intern during her final semester at Indiana University – Indianapolis while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences. While going to school full-time and working at Thrive, she also gained professional experience as the Fulfillment Team Lead for Lowe’s Home Improvement.
Upon graduation in Spring of 2024, Kaley joined the Thrive team full-time as our Regional Account Manager in the Greater Chicago area. Through her dedication, work ethic, and sales success, Kaley was quickly promoted to National Sales Manager and works tirelessly to accommodate our rapid growth. Valentina Tamayo Ayala - Sales Operations Manager
Valentina was born and raised in Medellin, Colombia. She joined a multinational company as a supply chain intern in 2020. Valentina completed her Business Administration degree at Pontifical Bolivarian University. In early 2021 she started working as a point of sales consultant in a textile company, which facilitated her to develop her assertive communication skills with customers.
In 2022 Valentina was also part of an international exchange, which allowed her to improve her second language while being part of a warm host family. In fall of 2024, Valentina joined Thrive Orthopedics full-time to help the team with order fulfillment and with customer service. Firoella Morón Loayza - Customer Success
Fiorella born and raised in Lima, Perú. She completed her Human Resources Management degree at UTH Florida University. In 2021, she started working as an intern in Human Resources at an archaeological consulting firm. Through this experience, she improved her active listening, communication, and adaptability.
In 2022, Fiorella started an intercultural exchange in Indiana as an Au pair. This experience allowed her to improve her English and become more independent. In the fall of 2024, Fiorella started full-time at Thrive Orthopedics to help the team with order fulfillment and customer service. Daisy - Chief Cuteness Officer
Daisy grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and attended the prestigious Cuddles & Cuteness Mentorship Program at Thrive University. When not assisting with customer service, invoicing, and shipping at Thrive Headquarters in Indianapolis, Daisy can be found splashing in puddles, snuggling with co-workers, and generally raising the morale of everyone around her.
